What Citelight agrees to do, what we ask of you, and what we do not promise.
These terms govern your use of Citelight. They are written plainly on purpose - if you cannot tell what you agreed to, the agreement is not worth much.
We ask AI assistants the questions your buyers and sellers are typing, and we record exactly what comes back.
Every week we run a set of questions through ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, scoped to your market, your specialties and your neighborhoods. Google Search and AI Overview run monthly. We record the answers, measure whether you appear in them, and send you a reading every Monday.
What we do not do. We do not change what the assistants say. We do not optimise, submit, publish, or edit anything on your behalf. We measure, and we tell you what we would do next. Acting on it is your work.
We promise the measurement is honest. We report what the assistants actually said. Where we cannot measure something, we say we cannot rather than reporting a zero. Where a number is uncertain, we say so.
We do not promise a result. We do not guarantee that following a recommendation will improve your visibility, produce leads, or generate business. We measure what changes; we do not control it, and neither does anyone else.
We do not control the assistants. OpenAI, Perplexity and Google change their models, their data, and their behaviour without telling us. A reading can move because the world moved. When we know a change is ours rather than theirs, we tell you.
Availability. We aim to run every Sunday and deliver every Monday. If a reading is missed or a platform does not return, we say so rather than filling the gap.
You must be a licensed real estate professional or authorised to act for one.
Your account is yours. Sign-in is by emailed link - keep access to that inbox secure, because anyone with it can reach your account.
What you tell us should be true. Your market, brokerage and specialties determine what we measure. If they are wrong, the reading is wrong, and it will be wrong in a way that looks correct.
One account, one agent. A Lantern subscription covers one tracked agent. A Beacon subscription covers your team brand plus the agents you add.
Current pricing:
| tier | price | includes |
|---|---|---|
| Lantern | $129/month | one tracked agent |
| Beacon | $249/month | your team brand and four agents |
| Additional Beacon agents | $20/month each |
Founding members receive 50% off for the life of their subscription. That discount is permanent and survives price changes.
Billing is monthly, in advance, through Stripe. Your first charge is at signup; every charge after is on the same day each month.
Adding an agent to a Beacon team increases your next invoice. The change appears on the following invoice rather than being charged mid-cycle.
We may change prices. If we do, existing subscriptions keep their current price until we tell you otherwise, and we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any change takes effect.
You can cancel at any time from your account page. No notice period, no phone call, no retention conversation.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period. You keep access and keep receiving readings until then, because you paid for that period.
We do not give refunds for partial months, and we do not charge you again after you cancel.
You can close your account entirely, which deletes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. That is separate from cancelling and it is not reversible once the deletion runs.
We will ask before naming you. We may want to describe your results in a case study or on the site. We will not name you, your brokerage, or your market without your written permission, and permission for one use is not permission for all of them.
Your readings are yours. Use them, share them, put them in a listing presentation, show them to your brokerage. We do not restrict what you do with your own data.
Do not resell the service. Buying one subscription and running readings for other agents is not permitted.
Do not scrape or automate against us. The free audit is free because it is rate-limited; circumventing that costs us real money per request.
Our published research - our studies and market analysis - may be quoted with attribution. Do not present it as your own.
We can suspend an account that is being used to abuse the service, or where payment has failed and not been resolved.
We can decline to measure someone. If an agent asks not to be measured, we remove them, including from your competitive comparisons. We will tell you if that affects your reading.
We can change the product. We add questions, platforms and measurements over time. If a change alters what your numbers mean, we tell you rather than letting the line move silently.
Citelight is an information service. Decisions you make about your business are yours.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost business, lost leads, lost listings, or any indirect loss arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute is subject to the courts of Broward County, Florida.
Before anything formal, write to us. We are a small operation and most things are faster to fix than to argue about.
If we change these terms materially, we will email you before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Citelight after that means you accept the change. If you do not, cancel - and we will refund the unused portion of the period the change lands in.
